Switched gun when the Siligun stop pushing out Caulk. Used my old gun (15 years old) Sika Pro tube still had plenty. Wasn't the caulk! Siligun push caulk out slowly! had to squeeze more time. Took longer. Should have known there isn't a better mouse trap! Will keep.
Paid $20 will sell for $15. Old gun looks beat up, caked with old caulk, but over all a better gun!

Thanks for saving me, I wouldn't have guessed that the cutter gets dull and reduces performance - but it makes perfect sense!

The best general use gun I have found was the Old Wagner 720 Power Caulk. So much so that when a helper ran it over with a truck, I stalked ebay and bought 3. 20+ years, still going strong. I have tried many of the newer ones made for the current biig voltage batteries, just never walk as consistent and smooth as the old Wagner.

It has it’s place for specific jobs but a high quality traditional caulking gun in higher volume use seems to work much better.

Justl like a lot great ideas, the concept is usually better than the actual product. Stinks though, because that's a neat idea....

We bought the Pro version. It's junk also. It's going back. I wish I'd have seen your video first.

Coming from a contractor that uses these they're made for cock, they're not made for thick adhesives, or probably what you were using it for it's also made for tight spaces where it cuts the tube and you can cut that off and make it as short as you need to GET into a tight space It's not a commercial gun made for heavy duty stuff. I've had mine for years and they haven't failed me yet

It’s a pos. Couldn’t get even one tube to work. Cutter is useless, even started the cut with my box knife.
