Χώμα, χρώμα, δημιουργία, κοινωνικότητα. Το ξύλο και το κόκκαλο έγιναν εργαλεία στα χέρια του ανθρώπου, δημιούργησαν πολιτισμό πατώντας στα χνάρια του χθες και χάραξαν το αύριο. Η ανθρωπότητα συνεχίζει την αέναη πορεία προς τα αχαρτογράφητα νερά του μέλλοντος, γεμάτη όνειρα, δημιουργικότητα και ελπίδα, ωθώντας προς τα μπρος το τεράστιο καράβι της ζωής .
Οι σύγχρονοι άνθρωποι βιώνουν την βία της μετανάστευσης και της προσφυγιάς ως Ομηρικοί ταξιδιώτες. Φορούν τις λευκές μάσκες μιας ποθητής ειρήνης και έχουν βαλίτσες στα χέρια που κρύβουν τα όνειρα και το πάθος τους για ζωή. Πορεύονται προς το όνειρο και το ανέφικτο, αφήνοντας πίσω ως αποτύπωμα τα λόγια και τα έργα τους χαραγμένα στο υγρό χώμα.

Sand, colour, creation, sociability. Wood and other primary materials have filled the hands of the man with which he enhanced our civilization carrying along the significant past while glimpsing at the future.

He was born in Kavala. In 1984-86 he was an apprentice at the workshop of the sculptor and ceramist G. Galinos in Serres. Since 1986 he has been working in his own studio in Kavala and has been a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece since 1996.

He has taken part in fourteen international symposiums on ceramics and three on painting; he has also organised four international symposiums on ceramics in the Center of Contemporary Ceramics K. Karakitsios. During the last couple of years, he has been organising seven-day seminars on ceramics, at his studio.
All of his works have been published in international books on ceramics.
