We already had Trick or Treat at our house and it’s just my mom and me and our dog. My dad passed away nearly 4 years ago from cancer. During Trick or Treat we sat at the front door, with it open, and one of us held Lilly’s leash and the other handed out candy. That way she didn’t bark at the doorbell and she could see all of the kiddos. That might help you and Steve. Have fun handing out candy! I grew up in the country and never had Trick or Treaters so I know how exciting it is to have them now.
