Welcome CAA School Safety Patrollers to the ‘The 45’ YouTube page! This dance was made exclusively for Patrollers to hype up your energy when your squad gets together. Learn and practice the moves with your team and then share them with us on social media using the hashtag #DanceWithCAA.

About the project: ‘The 45’ is a collaborative dance project inspired by CAA School Safety Patrollers and incorporates some of the safety techniques they use while on duty. The dance was designed by the talented dancer/choreographer Dwayne Gulston – aka ‘Boneless’ – of So You Think You Can Dance Canada and other fame. It captures the dynamism and excitement of the youth who participate in the program. A huge thank you to Sarah Barrable-Tishauer - of Degrassi, The Lion King & We Met Dancing acclaim – who lent her accomplished skills as a host, DJ and project consultant. Look for Sarah and Elisha Ladeza dancing alongside Boneless in the instructional videos. A big note of appreciation for our friends at BigRedOak for their artistic vision and making this project come to life.
Kudos also go out to the CAA School Safety Patrollers from Tony Pointes Public School and École Félix Leclerc, who tested and named some of the dance moves that made the final cut.
