We are back! So glad to be back bringing you all of the Villages golfing action. We decided to get up to speed with the new Live Oak Pitch and Putt golf course. This course is newly opened and features gorgeous greens, sweeping views and lots of water.

This particular video is an on course golf vlog which was filmed and played on November 9th, 2024 at the Live Oak pitch & putt golf course. This course features multiple teeing locations with some holes having two or three teeing grounds. Even par is 54 strokes and this course is perfect for working on the short game. Nevertheless, sit back, relax and enjoy the sights, sounds, and people who all call this gorgeous place of The Villages home.

When were you there?
I played Laurel Oak yesterday. I could’ve seen you there (although I usually play early in the morning) 😏

I’m playing Laurel Oak again tomorrow. I love the layout … use most every club in the bag.

I’ve played Live Oak several times already, and it’s quite a walk.
Whew! 😅 A lot of space between green & next tee. Especially after the tee shot on #11 and the walk along McNeill Dr

Haha … I played with that guy you played with last week. He says he plays three times a day. 😳

p.s. We’re all tinkering with our putting.
I changed putters three times last week 🙄
The guys I play with at Mickylee know if my putter is acting up, I give it a “time out” in the garage for a while.

Rick I really enjoy your videos. I'm sure it's a lot of work, but know that those of us considering a move to the Villages really appreciate it. I'm wondering about pace of play in the Villages. Do you find yourself regularly waiting on the group in front of you? I assume it varies from course to course, the time of day, or time or year. How long do you normally allow for 18 on a championship course, 9 on an executive, or 18 on a pitch n putt?
