$7 privacy window outside view! Window transformed using Rustoleum frosted glass. Currently renovating bathroom and wanted a solution for the window where i didnt have to cover it up. This is how it looks from the outside looking in. I am happy with the results and recommend it for anyone looking for a privacy solution without having to cover up the window! DIY privacy window using Rustoleum Frosted glass. Currently renovating a bathroom and i wanted this window without blinds. Removed the blinds, cleaned off the glass, sprayed 3 coats with 2 mins in between coats, and that is all! Super fast and affordable perfect for this budget friendly bathroom makeover.

The Silhouette doesn’t bother me because it’s a half bath and this window is not high traffic without access to public view. I really love this! 🤩

Scrape off the top window to still see nature and let in more light. It worked really good!

Frosted glass just makes things look like how I see without glasses on 🤣 My neighbours that lived opposite me many years ago, never closed a blind in their bathroom because they thought the frosted glass was enough. I could see everything including them sitting on the toilet so I had a quiet word lol

Personally I think it needs another coat either on the inside or outside. You can still see quite a bit even with it being blurry. It seems like a cool product though

We used it in our bathroom that has a window in the shower. It lasted I think three years in the shower humidity. We did eventually replace it with the frosted film once it started to chip. But still it worked well for a $7 product. We removed it with a razor blade and it was relatively easy.

Looks great!! They also sell window stickers with the same idea..they have ones with the frost, ones with designs, even tinted ones that you can see out, but can't see in. Great option for those who rent!!

I live in a garden style condo that's partially below grade. That means our windows start just above the ground level so people walking by can see in. Didn't know about Rustoleum's Frosted Glass when we had our new windows put in so I purchased frosted privacy film (not Contact paper) and used that. Same effect as the Frosted Glass, lots of privacy, yet the light filters through beautifully.

I bought this same frosted spray not because I wanted it, needed it or had a single clue what I would do with it wasn't even sure what it was about. It landed in my cart because the sticker said $1.75 for that price you know something was getting frosted . I got so projects out of that can !
