I had someone like this as a roommate, and jfc it was a NIGHTMARE. She was impossibly sweet UNTIL you tried to tell her /anything/ - then she would fly off the handle in a nasty rage because she thought you were treating her like a baby.

This girl didn’t know that melted sugar could severely burn you, tried to wipe a spill off the stovetop while it was on, didn't know that dryers have lint traps you need to clear, and thought you could leave raw chicken in the refrigerator for a week and still have it be safe to eat, among other things.

Living with her was like walking on eggshells, and we were all honestly relieved when she moved out.

I had a roommate in college who was surprised to learn Lincoln was assassinated. She was reading her textbook and announced it like it was a massive revelation. She was the sweetest person ever though, bless her heart.
Edit: for clarification, she was from the States so she should have known.

I had a classmate like that. She had one brain cell BUT HOLY SHIT SHE WAS A GREAT MOTHER. Her kid was the most well behaved sweet girl ever and this woman dealt with every tamper tantrum and behavioural issue with such grace. She also had a lot of hidden skills when it came to design and aesthetics. She could turn a bunch of weeds into a wedding bouquet without trying. She was great at putting things together to make art, but that's a skill she wasn't aware of because people used to assume she had nothing to bring to the table. Her not being smart also made her a pretty open minded person. If you told her something she was fascinated and open to it rather than judgemental. Yeah she was gullible, took things literally all the time, and had a hard time connecting the dots but that made her hear people out in a way lots of us don't. Sometimes I would assume I got what someone meant but then she would ask a dumb question and the person we were talking to would clarify and the rest of us would realise that we were wrong. Her being utterly clueless made her a great addition to the team because she kind of viewed everything differently from others and her stupid sounding questions actually did make the rest of us think about things in a different light. Sometimes she would pick up on holes in people's stories and flaws in their logic by viewing it the way only she did. It's so easy for people to kind of assume a bunch of things and her dumb questions sometimes resulted in the group actually thinking about things we all just took for granted. Yeah she struggled a lot on her own but I remember her fondly and she did contribute in her own way. Also - like I said, these dumb girls often have cool abilities people don't notice that never get developed. I get not wanting your sibling to marry an idiot, but if you end up in a situation where you just have to accept that - people surprise you.
