Swiss Travel Channel is a YouTube channel of my holiday’s trips videos, taken all around the world since 2008. Some are for pure tourism and others are more of an adventure. The videos usually show the top best tourist attractions, the top things to do and top places to see. The goal is to inspire others on their next vacations. The videos can also be seen as a guide to have an idea of the main highlights and places to explore. I love to take pictures of the nature, traditions and different cultures, to search the must-see spots and show the essentials in my videos, for this reason I always try to create the perfect vacation. Traveling is more than a hobby for me, is a way of life.

Palma de Mallorca (source Wikipedia):

Palma de Mallorca (officially Palma) is a Spanish city and municipality, capital of the island of Mallorca and of the autonomous community of the Balearic Islands. It is also the seat of judicial district number three. It is located in the western part of the Mediterranean Sea and, within the island, to the southwest. It is located about 250 km east of the Iberian Peninsula.

Its municipal area occupies an area of 208.63 km² that extends between the Na Burguesa mountain range and the Prado de Sant Jordi. It is located in the center of the bay of Palma, about 13 m above sea level. Several torrents cross it, such as the Riera and the Gros.

With 416,065 inhabitants in January 2019, Palma is the eighth largest city in Spain by population and the first in the Balearic Islands. Its metropolitan area includes nine towns with 560,240 inhabitants, spread over an area of 1,015.88 km², making it the 14th largest in Spain.

It was founded under the name of Palma by the Roman consul Quintus Cecilius Metellus Balearicus in 123 BC. It is believed that its current settlement corresponds to the Roman ruins found beneath its historic centre, although there is still no irrefutable proof. After being in the hands of the Vandals and the Arabs in 903, it was conquered by King James I of Aragon on 31 December 1229, becoming the Ciutat de Mallorca or Ciutat, capital of its own kingdom, which declined after its incorporation into the Crown of Aragon in 1279.

In 1715 the Nueva Planta Decrees came into force, and the city recovered its Roman toponym, Palma, in use since the 15th century. Already in the 20th century, it was the protagonist of an intense tourist boom during the 1960s and 1970s. Today it is a notable economic and cultural centre at the island, regional and national levels.
