LAMBDA Function: A modern technique to create your own function in Excel

This tutorial demonstrates LAMBDA functionality of Excel which can convert any complex Excel formula into custom function. Visual Basic Macros and Excel Add-in is a popular option to create custom functions. But LAMBDA function enjoys advantage of NO-CODE function creation over VBA.

HI,

A nice video. While i understand the potential (can help in simplifying the function / readability, speed, etc) and how the function works, the point where I get stuck is that a good majority of the time you get by using simple functions, and on some occasions, you make a complicated one (made one using the IFS function with 108 points to check - this was before LET and LAMDA). I would be most interested in knowing where you can think of using LAMDA (besides the obvious - Income tax slab rate, depreciation WDV, Text correction - requires recursive LAMDA).

Would be delighted if you could post a video on recursive lamda.
