After winning the war, Ataturk visited İzmir. İn one village ppl put Greek flag to ground and wants from Ataturk to step on it bc Greek commander did the same thing to Turkish flag while they entering village. Ataturk picked up Greek flag from the ground and said they did mistake with doing that, i cant repeat it against whole nation.
