First, thank you very much for this video.
Some guy with a rider mower moving backward broke mine even more than this one. I could not use the screwdriver like you did because I had left nothing on the side. After searching many times for a similar case and trying out many other things like chisel, screwdriver, oil, lock plier, and others, I decided I had nothing to lose. So, I cut the cap's remains at an angle with a manual saw until I reached the end of the thread. Then I pried inside in between the pipe and the side of the cap with the screwdriver until it broke and kept prying until I could remove the whole cap. Finally, I put in a new one.
