Here is one of my favorite performances of this song as well as one of the earliest performances of it. This performance was in the beginning of the Slippery When Wet Tour when Jon's voice was great before it got shot.
About this performance, it gets cut off at the end which is a boomer. Aswell as interestingly enough Richie came late with the intro solo :D

This one was a bit tough to work with, mainly because all the hiss and noise in the background, which i tried to remove, there is still a little bit of noise but a lot of it was removed. Aswell as added a stronger low end and compressed the audio. A slight touch of Stereo reverb and a slight color correction to the video.
Enjoy!

Jon probably went like
"welp i forgot the lyrics I bet the Japanese wouldn't mind"
Ahahaha as a Japanese guy this is hilarious
also his voice is literally perfection goddamn

They never played it live any better than the year it came out ! It’s like they felt the song the best right after they wrote it and started playing it live. It sounds good down through the years, but nothing like it did then!

Is the the moment when they step out from Fahrenheit and step inside Slippery era. Then it's history. Thanks for share it !

In my opinion this is the best version live of this song! And... If you want know what was the 1980 Years, this could be a great summary;)

Richie didn't come in late with the intro solo. Jon played the intro solo and Richie played the backing when they first played this song live. In all early live versions of this song, the sound always seems to come up late for Jon when he starts starts that bit.

Great upload and remaster, has a bit of an RGB grain because of the VHS generational loss, but that can't be removed I believe. Love it!
