Please don't compare OCs to extremely popular characters who only look vaguely like said OC. Every idea has been done before, so you're bound to find some sort of similarity, but that doesn't mean you should compare them. That takes away from a character/creator's originality and that sucks.

the only thing that remotely makes them look like ganyu is the hair and the bangs. even then, comparing them to ganyu is a stretch. literally anyone will take an oc and compare them to a character from a popular media, even if it’s like.. a one pixel similarity. it’s definitely an icky thing to do / expereince . . . i have a main oc that has brown hair and medium length hair and people won’t stop comparing him to cherie from cherry crush, (even though i had him before the media was released), so i understand how you feel! it can definitely be draining sometimes hahaha
