Jan, some answers to your English questions. Klutz is only common in US word for the clumsy. Tomcat is normally only said if gender is relevant and if it's not clear you refer to a cat, simply a tom is more common otherwise.
On 1. e4 just about everyone finds the Sicilian a challenge, so many thematic sacs and resources. But that's the fun and when people are rated much lower, they're not going to know all that much theory anyway, just play more positional lines.
