If Kevin hadn’t been so impatient to just wait and get on the plane to change the batteries on his tape recorder he probably wouldn’t have been left behind.

There’s a small lie in this scene: the part where Kevin changes the battery in his Talkboy. I had the Talkboy myself, it takes 6 of AA batteries, NOT just 1 AA battery like Kevin showed us.
