I've been to Virginia Beach a few times and I am set to return this June. Flipper McCoy's is a must visit everytime I go. I love the games from the 80's. I also usually spend some time at First Landing State Park. They got some hiking trails and everything you expect from a state park. I also enjoy seeing the military planes flying overhead.

My father (67) & I (37) are driving from horrible MA to Virginia Beach on July 28 2023 & arriving early morning July 20 2023 and starting off with what I hope isn’t a rip off in a small group dolphin kayak first thing in morning then we will go to our hotel in Hyatt Place.
