After a few years and almost 5, 000 miles, this is what I think of my Yamaha Tenere 700 both on and off the road.

One year and 26, 000 miles later (11k of that off road) I don't want any bike more than my T7. I still grin getting on it and it does stuff off road it just has no business doing as easily as it does.

your reviews of this beast was one the reasons I got mine.
I'm pushing 10k miles between 2 of them. (1st one went through a deer) and it just does what I need it to do. you need to Cruz to town? No problem.
need to rip a single track? Have fun and bring a friend. can't wait to see what's next here.

From what I understand currently, in early to mid Nov is when we in the USA find out what tenere models will be available for us in 2023. If they bring the world raid model that might be a nice upgrade for the off road focused riders. I am waiting for that myself before I make a final call on what to order for spring.

So sad to see you selling this, I've been wanting one so bad. They are like a unicorn here in the northeast! I've enjoyed all the T7 content, don't know where I'm gonna get my T7 fix now! Good luck with your new plans, I'll definitely keep watching your channel Ben!!

After riding bikes for over 50 years, and owning many brands, I want my bikes made in Japan. I agree Ben.

Even if it's thiner the problem with the oem skid plate it's that it's not flat on the bottom, and it's easy for the bike to drop from the jack.
Now there are more exhaust on the market without the need to cut the frame, sc project, hp corse, Mivv etc
This bike was based on the desert rally bikes, the rally bikes have the exhaust like the that, the problem it's how fragile is the holder.

Not a big commenter. I was in the first run for US T7s, had a 690 before it. Not really a slabber, one bike only makes sense. Input so much customization and building out of the T7 and see so much utility in it, I won't ever sell it. It's filled so many areas well, not perfect. In an ideal world 3 bikes but that's not the case. Move slowly and think carefully what your future riding vision is before selling, my two cents. Thanks for your helpful videos and effort! From CT, U.S.A.

ADVs-
High mass + high ctre of mass=
Tippy.
Just the way it is.

Seats-personal thing but I think many could have foam remove where legs make contact with seat which will allow the feet to make better contact with ground.

While I believe the T700 is one of the best bikes in its class it is important to be aware that any bikes in this class or larger can be extremely difficult to handle in genuine off road conditions. As long as buyers are aware of this fact they should be happy with their purchase. If you really require true off road performance along with somewhat decent on road performance you better get a DR650 while you still can.

I bought the Africa Twin. Dealerships here all say they can't get Yamaha, don't see them on the sales floor. Suzuki is almost non existent here too. Every other brand plentiful. At least compared to 3 or 4 months ago.

Did you get the galfer brake pads from camel adv? Transformed my rear brake feel. Just shy of 12k on mine. Good review. On point with all points ;)

Nice review; critical but not overly critical. Where can I get a camera like the one on your fender? Like that so much! Which cam is that?

I may be the only one here, but i did not like the T7. Love the look on this bike, and l was so ready to trade my 800xc for this, but other than the look and the engine l could not like the bike in any way. Im here for the klr tho. Great work sir.

Sad to see it go, but excited for what's next. I agree with everything you said. I think the T7 is an amazing bike. A couple of things hold me back, the exhaust issue, top heavy, and range. I think the Aprilia is the unicorn I've been looking for, but like you said, the only bikes I would take around the world is the KLR or the T7. Guess I'll keep rocking my Gen2 KLR for now.

Excellent video per usual Ben! If you had to choose between the 2022 KLR and the Tenere for a 1000 mile trip, which would you choose for comfort? I’m assuming Tenere? Trying to decide if upgrading my KLR to this is truly worth it. I love the 2022 KLR.
