We will have to completely redo this when it gets warmer. What a complete bummer and waste of time. You win some, you lose some. It is just a setback; and we are continuing working on the inside. Things are coming together!

Sad that happened to you. Now we know when we reseal ours to use something different. Think I will try the one suggested in the comments. Being able to cover itself will save a lot of work. Thanks for your videos. Very helpful

Hey guys, I have the same siding on my Lance 880 camper. You want to use "Geocel 28100V". It's super sticky, rv grade and can go over itself, if needed in the future.

I actually did an 😲when I read that it was two weeks later and you still had the tape on. Why??? Remove the tape after you've smoothed out your bead. Pull the tape in a manner that you're not lifting it up. This way you won't worry about lifting caulk or leaving embedded tape.
