The one thing I hate about my area is that most estate sales are ran by one corporation and they do not let anything be marked down or slip through the cracks. They also some how get away with charging Sales Tax on items and in my area it is 10.25% its some total BS.

you have to be very careful with estate sale because sometimes the people running them will stage a house to make it look like its a estate sale when in fact they bring in there own items from there antique store or leftover from there other sale and jack up the prices I seen it done many times I was at one and the son of the person who lived there told me his father never owned this stuff thus it was staged Buyer Beware

Lotza sales here, but some sell the furniture in advance to furniture buyers for their 2nd hand furniture stores. Or, they back their trucks up first, get in first, grab most of the best furniture before anyone can get a chance. I used to find a lot of good stuff, but because of the demand, good stuff gets picked over fast. I did just go to one that was in an empty store. I did find good items to sell. It wasn't crowded at all. I went at the end, and the guy in the tools, paint, etc. loaded up 3 boxes for me and sold it all for $6. Plus, it was 50% off at checkout. I was smilin' all the way home.

Thanks for the info, some of the ones I’ve been to give items ebay prices or prices that make selling items not worth the cost.
