I find it so funny that if Donut actually manages to change Golf Ball's mind on being so bossy, 8-Ball's entire existence and purpose will be erased.
Like he was built up to be this foil to Golf Ball to make her change her mind, but ultimately failed and maybe even replaced with someone to do the job better.

That might make him one of the most useless characters in the history of the series LOL

1:08 "I knew I should expected incompetence from a FIRST 🅱O O T ."

That felt personal.

I wanted 8-ball to debut specifically for GB to have a big rival again. But now that donut has filled that role there is no reason for him to debut anymore .

I just feel incredibly bad for Donut this episode. Imagine your only ally left in the game being eliminated over the guy that stole your limbs.

0:14 this proves that pillow didnt push them out for no reason, she did it because they were bringing the team down and she already had a really good idea (that being to slaythe dragons using a flamethrower). I saw people getting mad at her flr doing this saying she had "regressed" and was "still violent" completely ignoring WHY she did it.

TPOT has handled like half of its arcs well so we’ll see how this goes. Hopefully they don’t screw it up again. Also, I’m glad Donut didn’t get out because I really wanted to see more interaction just between these two because in TPOT 12 it didn’t seem like it was going anywhere but after TPOT 13 I’m more hopeful for this arc.

Idc about what anyone says and idc if they tried to make it seem that both of them were in the right in my humble opinion Donut is in the right

Golf Ball has consistently been unable to change (besides one portion in BFB but has reverted back to her bossy ways) and has been eliminated due to being a harsh leader while Donut was eliminated for standing up for the team with a disadvantage and continues to be violated INSANELY throughout TPOT with the most unfair treatment from his previous team and the other contestants (his team murdering him and getting his arms taken)

Everything Golf Ball has done is because of her inability to understand people while Donut has constantly been treated horribly throughout his entire time on the show, and yet continues to stand up for everyone around him and be the most selfless person throughout the show

Donut is doing what 8 Ball could’ve done, not only that but he’s also doing it a million times better. Honestly a really interesting TPOT arc that I did not see happening. A great high point of this episode. Also a lot of people were saying how bland donut is which I do agree at the time, but watching this made him so much better. I don’t think either of them are necessarily wrong in this situation. Golf ball just wants to win and donut just wants to make everyone’s voice heard. Their reasons are both valid.

I KNEW I SHOULD HAVE EXPECTED INCOMPETENCE FROM A FIRST 🅱️OOT

Donut is just 8-ball but less sarcastic and more reasonable

Unrelated but I actually kinda enjoyed pillow this episode. She was a bit more…understanding with her motives, and even said “sorry” when she burned winner. I guess she really did change, to a degree.
Oh right and she also kinda… y’know, won for her team with the whole dragon thing.

It seems to be going in the right direction, both sides have a point rather than 1 of them just contradicting the other for the sake of it.

Donut solos. Like this version of him more than whatever he did in TPOT 12.

I felt... so *BAD* for Golf Ball. Everything she said was true. She's shown *MULTIPLE* times to care about her team, but she put winning BEFORE her team's feelings because she, as one of the smartest characters in the show, as one of the best leaders in the show, *KNOWS* what is good for the team. But in BFDI, this led to her being eliminated. In BFDIA, she was robbed hard due to her team not listening to her. And now in TPOT, her team is straying rogue again. I actually felt genuine pain in her voice when she said she "wouldn't let anyone else control her fate" because she knows what'll happen.

I'm honestly so hyped for this arc
Like, I've been waiting ever since Pre-Split for GB to grow as a character (even though she's always been my favorite, and I love how she is now, I've still been waiting for her to start valueing her teammates more)
