I got a refurbished one for nostalgia, I'm using it as main phone, and it works perfectly for me, I love it, even is on 4.4.2 version

My first Note. Back then when it was called a phaphlet. Everyone wanted the smallest phone until I pulled out the Note 2 and blew everyone away

Yes it’s still worth buying in 2023! No joke! It’s still great! I just bought another one after not having one for nearly 8 years and I’m very happy with it! I was surprised to be able to get my hands on a basically new (open box unlocked) Note 2 for $50. This phone also represents freedom if you get what I’m saying. I couldn’t be more happy with this beauty!!

This was my first Samsung phone, coming from a laggy iPhone 4. To me, at the time, it blew Apple out of the water. Beautiful display, oled was very new at that point and looked in incredible compared to ips displays - especially videos. It was a good phone for its time.

I absolutely loved my Note 2!!!! I still love it! It travelled the world with me, and was used in every work meeting. So handy and so solid! The great all-rounder.

I had this phone for about 3 years and still have it somewhere. It was a great device, I even used it for watching movies when travelling in planes and busses. Nowadays I am thinking about getting the S23 Ultra or the Fold 5 when it comes out. The removable battery and the SD card were also good features as well as the notifications light.

Wow that is nuts. This phone released in the year that I finished high school and started college. Cannot believe that it's been almost 10 years. I got deathly ill at the end of 2013 and only started to get better in 2017. Seems like so many years of my life was stolen from me:(. I have a Note 20 Ultra now. So happy that I basically have the latest note until the end of my contact, when does that ever happen??

Watching this on my Note 2. Still works great for me replaced the battery once because it started growing in size which was odd don't really overcharge it now my issue is that if I want to download an app it pretty much says no since my software is not supported oh well it's worked great for about a decade still running strong.

I bought this when it was brand new. I think I paid $700+. Software updates came super slow. I haven't paid anywhere near that much ever since.

I still have one somewhere. I used to root and flash different roms on it left and right. This was the device that pulled me over to the Note line, and I'm still with it... Well, S Ultra now.

You should not be saying that you should not use it in this day and age, if it works that is all that most people need.

Phablet makes sense for these phones because they were so square looking, They were as wide as or wider than modern big phones but also 2 inches shorter.

I got it in 2012 after trading in a BlackBerry
Loved it, used it up until 2017. Still in my drawer back home, it still boots up (the last time I checked was 2023)
I do miss it, and my brain is still defaulting to the S Pen being on the right instead of the left on a S24 Ultra 🤣
