As a lifelong Broncos fan, I didn't like Brady for a long time. I believed all the bullshit media nonsense about him (cheater, crybaby, wimp, system qb, beneficiary of Belichick, unnaturally lucky, etc.). However, as the years progressed and he continued to show up and compete despite the ever changing roster around him I came to respect his relentless drive to constantly improve. The year after my team got destroyed by the Legion of Boom in the superbowl, I saw Brady facing them the next year in the Superbowl. That was the first time I found myself rooting for the guy. Seeing him win a 4th ring and beating THAT defense impressed me. Fast forward a few years later and I see the godly 28-3 comeback at age 39 where he wins a 5th ring beating out Joe Montana and Terry Bradshaw. That was the moment I finally started to believe this guy was the best quarterback and that the media had been wrong about him for so many years. The next year he wins an MVP at age 40, and makes it to the Superbowl AGAIN! Even though he lost, he threw for 500 yards. Then the next year he wins a 6th freaking ring with the most untalented roster I had ever seen from a superbowl team after beating the up and coming Chiefs Superteam in the AFC championship the game prior. I truly believed he was the GOAT after that...but then the unthinkable happens. He leaves New England and goes to a 7-9 team and wins the Superbowl the FIRST year there on a new team...achieving something only one other QB (Peyton Manning) had accomplished to get a 7th ring. All while beating 3 superbowl mvp teams on the road finishing off with crushing the new NFL darling Mahomes in the Superbowl at age 43. There has never been and there will NEVER be another quarterback like Tom Brady. He is the GOAT of the NFL and it's not even remotely debatable anymore. I can't even see another quarterback in this league winning 4 superbowls ever again...let alone 6 or 7...on two different teams. Shit is unreal. Like him or hate him, Brady deserves respect for what he's accomplished.
