Today, patron Ryan Starbloak asks what the hardest thing is about making the switch to full time author, and I go over how I managed it (and how I'm still managing it today).

This is a great video!! I totally relate to not knowing how much you're going to earn each month. Some months are amazing and some are not. I've also noticed Facebook ads becoming less effective... I'm about ready to give up on Facebook in general. Anyway, I'm a new subscriber to your channel (and a new authortuber & booktuber) and I really like your content. Looking forward to watching more of your videos!

Hi there, I'm a relatively new subscriber. I found your channel when I got selected for a bookbub and wanted to know what to expect. I just thought you might be interested to know that I was accepted with my book in KDP select. It is a three-book box set which was accepted for an international bookbub in September and then a USA bookbub in October (coming up in a few days). The bookbub is for Teen/ YA and I write contemporary/ urban fantasy. Just thought I'd share in case it is useful.

I feel that I have been really lucky as I only just started publishing in May and got the international deal very soon after I published the box set (meaning it ended up being a hot new release in the UK etc).
