My children have enjoyed watching many episodes of Gabby and Alex over the years. That said, I’m greatly saddened to see God’s name being used carelessly and without respect in the expression, “O my God” in this video.

The term “God” refers to the Creator in whom we live and move and have our being. The term also refers to the One from whom we enjoy every good gift. If God has loved us so much, is it not right that we love Him back? And if we wouldn’t refer to a parent/child in such a careless and disrespectful way then surely we shouldn’t refer to God like in such a manner?
