An iconic Barn Find in Australia! We unearth an absolute gem from General Motors Holden, one very popular 1950's car, in amazing condition, just like it'd been in a time capsule, not seeing the light of day for nearly 30 years! Our cars of this era shared many styling features of the mid 50's Chevys and sold like crazy here in the day.

Wow, that takes me back. The car is like new inside, all things considered. An absolute beaut.

Drove my mums FC in Wagga which we owned approx 20 years and loved till sold around 1990- never broke down, such memories seeing both exterior and interior again.

Great presentation on a fabulous classic car : first car was a 58 FC bought in 75 and drove it to school most every day. Then Mum found out. Police Sergeant called home one day; saying, "we've received a report your son's car's been stolen" - Mate and I used to park it two blocks from home, then hop out with our school bags over shoulder and walk the rest of the way home. Old biddy, noticed us and reported two naughty school boys were driving a stolen car. Mum wasn't impressed.

FC, had one, great car, was a smaller version of the iconic 57 Chev From the wear on the doors, etc, maybe more miles than on the Speedo. Also Repco put that decal on re-built moters, just sayin.

My Dad's first car was a FC. Sadly it was written off in an accident 50 years ago.

Nice car, but some of us Aussies don’t want to be Americanised, especially when proudly talking about our own home built cars and proud to find these cars in sheds.

How rats have not gotten into the interior and wires of engine is insane

The motor won't be rusted and siezed. What a dumb thing to say. As if the bearings and rings would be worn out

I was born in 2000 and watched old Australian videos and was around 16/17 when Holden closed its doors. When these old cars in the 60s and 70s were driving around it seems like a happier time.

8:23 You might be very surprised, if its got leaded super in it it will still be fine. The old towy we pulled out to get going had super in it probably from 1988 - 90. A battery and a bit of juice down the carby and away she went.
