This video is for solar imagers and interested observers. It describes the 3 layers of the solar atmosphere and shows examples of the structures found in each layer. It's intended to help dispel the confusion between solar flares, prominences, coronal mass ejections, and other things. Most of the images are my own and a few are from NASA's Solar Dynamic Observatory. The illustration is from Wikipedia.

Excellent video. A solid Solar 101 class. As noted by Geoff adding a CaK image or two to a revised version of this video would be great for new observers whenever you can pick up a CaK module.

Brilliant Mark. A calcium image or two may have added to the story, as you did mention the wavelength. They too show prominence activity, though less obviously, but also plague.
