Lepours island .if you had leprosy you was sent to live there were you would not spread the decease to family and friends.tragic history they had own town church farm had mayor docs cemetery etc if can go with a guide better.greeks took over fresh water food daily to the island about mile from shore.poeple swam over to see loved ones on the island which wasn't good thing to take the risk.germans shot any one swimming over to the island in the war.loads fantastic history.have a meal in plaka weekend evening great view of island and lights up at night lovely views
