Are you a fan of the new "End Call" position?

Something that royally annoys me is that while a phone call is in progress, hitting the speaker icon brings up audio output menu vs. putting it on speaker phone. Long pressing that should bring the menu and tap should put it on speaker.

The changes to the end call button and the smoother animation for music playback on the lock screen seem like much needed improvements. Also the updated glyph icons and font under display settings are a nice touch

i actually loved where the end button was placed prior… it was placed there for a reason. it had a purpose—innovation. modern design.

they had the option/opportunity of putting the end button where it is now, originally. but they didn’t… it gives too safe… traditional.

but my hands are small and femme, so it’s easier for me to actually press (where it was before) it w/o strain lol.

I can't believe they still haven't fixed the notification center bug! That should have been fixed on beta 5 of ios 16!

My keyboard is still lagging when typing longer texts… hopefully they fix that soon, because it’s really annoying. It’s getting gradually worse the longer the text I type gets. Sometimes it feels like the keyboard lacks behind for one full keystroke when typing fast. (I’m on the latest public beta atm, I‘m assuming it’s not fixed in this developer beta release, right?)

beta 6 so far has been worse than beta 5 for me. battery life seems worse so far but the biggest problem is that for some reason apple music has stopped working 😭 it’s just stuck on loading and i can’t get it to work no matter what i do

I feel like I'm the only one who liked the end-call button on the right side. When you slide to answer, that's where the slider naturally ends, so it makes sense for it to be on the right, keeping up with Apple's fluidity and seamless transitions.

I loved where the new “end” button was due to the fact I used to always end my call when I tapped to wake.
