God wants you to WATER your garden

Your life is a garden… and praying is like planting a seed

Take a look at your garden right now. And notice the seeds that you have planted within that garden. What have you asked God for? What has God shown you? What kind of visions has God provided for you? Dreams and glimpses of your future that you’re able to see with your eyes closed?

God is the lord of the harvest. Our harvest/blessings all come from God. Our paycheques from our jobs, and our homes, are all from God.

There’s a process that God puts you through when watering the seeds that are in your life so you can reap the harvest that God has for you and God is the lord of the harvest as said in Matthew 9:38. (Show scripture on screen)

You pray, and you plant the seed by praying. However, the seed is rooted in whom? God. So God is in control of what the seed grows into. Just cause you expect a seed to grow a certain way, doesn’t mean that God is gonna do it as such. Because God is in control of that, not you.

YOU on the other hand are responsible for what? Watering the seed. Because it’s YOUR garden. And the harvest? Reaping your harvest? The blessing? Who’s in charge of that? God. God is the Lord of the harvest. That is why you’re not in control of your future. That is why God isn’t letting you in EVERY step of the way because that’s not your job to be worried about. That’s GOD’s job. Your job is to just obey. And obeying is doing what God has called you to do IN THE PRESENT MOMENT.

Matthew 9:38: “Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” God is the Lord of the harvest which is WHY he is in control of the blessings that come with the seeds he’s planted in your life.

Make sure that you’re aware of what YOU’RE planting in your life as well. It’s YOUR garden. Don’t plant and water seeds that set you back and then blame it on God for what you’ve harvested. You reap what you sow 🙏🏼

I was having a super hard time recently with mental health and I was having trouble feeling God's presence. It was super hard but I tried so hard to stay faithful. Finally today I just surrendered myself and talked to God. I haven't felt this good in weeks. God is good and he is the only path to true inner peace. The key for me was just trusting my prayers had been heard and answered. Just wanted to share this in case anyone is going through something similar. Just keep praying, God hears you❤️

Psalm 46:10 is a good place to begin. Probably my most favorite chapter in the Bible is John Chapter 9. Where am I going with this? The blind had to do something that probably didn't make much sense. But he had Faith in Jesus to make him be able to see again. Self doubt can often result in spiritual blindness. If God tells you to plant potatoes in your onion patch it doesn't need to make sense to you. Just have faith and know that He is God. Hey Jotivation! I've been on this channel for a month or two now. The first video I saw of yours, I immediately felt that there was an anointing in your life. Keep this up man, God has a plan for you. I'm always so motivated from these videos when I may feel down. I love God, and Christ with all my heart and have been a long-time believer. Thank you for making this video ❤, the whole thing was talking about me! I kept asking God, “What should I do, what do You want me to do, What career am I going to be in, What’s my calling?” I’ve asked those over and over for probably weeks, or maybe months. I got my answer to the first two questions through my paster, the Lord told him something and my pastor told me my prayer life…. (I forgot the exact words but basically my prayer life needs to be better. And so I started praying more and then I started asking about my career and what my calling should be, the Lord revealed it to me in a dream. Then someone told me what I would be doing. Now I’m STILL asking about my career 😅😂. Then this video showed up and now I need to start watering my garden a lot more often, stop worrying about HOW or WHEN the seed will grow, be careful what seeds I’m planting, read the Bible more often and trust God’s process. And start acting on faith, he won’t always give me the answers but he will provide whatever is best for me.
