In a movie filled with great music, this song is the most poignant, the one that hits hard for me. A song from a man filled with regret, sadness, self loathing- a man who wakes up haunted and the only sleep he gets is from a bottle. A man who has looked into the abyss. All of us have regrets- but the number of them determine the level of guilt, and Jackson’s level is high. And Cooper shows that in this song. Brilliant
