BALOS / GRAMVOUSA by Cretan Daily Cruises

Balos lagoon is one of the most famous beaches in the world, thanks to its rich blue-green waters and the color of the sand. It is located on the north-west coast of Crete, 56 km from Chania city or 17 km from Kissamos. Balos is most easily accessible by boat, which departs from the port of Kissamos.

Unfortunately, out of greed, they sell many more tickets than there are seats, so we traveled standing all the way there, it was horrible. On the way back and between the beaches, we were forced to go back to the boat much earlier to be able to sit down and thus we had less time for the beaches.
