First of all - I've never read the books.
To be honest, at first glance, I was on Team Jeremiah because you know - Jere is super nice & kind & friendly, and he seems as if he would treat Belly right. 
But then, Conrad came into the story, and I kid you not, the moment I saw him I was like, 'this is definitely the one for her.' Not because of his looks, but the eye contact; the vibes. Everything about them - it's pretty obvious that they are meant to be. Jere has always been a great friend to Belly, but their just not couple material (for each other, ofc). It's just the little things with Conrad & Belly. For example: he's the only one who helped her out of the pool, the only one who listened to her when they crashed her first date, the only one who helped her dance when she was young, the only one who cared about who she was going on a date with, and the only one who doesn't care if she hangs out with the guys. Whoever tells me this guy is selfish, get a grip. He is far from it. Sure, sometimes he doesn't make the right decisions or says stupid things, but nobody's perfect, we all know that. Anyway, I cannot wait for season 3, because I know 2 is gonna be pretty hard to handle.
