In this session we'll dive deeper into a specific use case for using Axure repeaters. As mentioned in my previous video on repeater feature - it's severely underrated one, especially when it comes to making smart product lists, account lists etc. And in this video we will cover exactly that - how to simulate a high fidelity prototype for account management feature. I am afraid I didn't get how it automatically prefilled the value at 5:32. Usually, I manually enter all the stuff, which is pretty annoying.

if you were sending the values to a different page, would you use global variables rather than local variables?

Thanks for all your tutorials. At 14:32 you suggest that we can empty the input fields once the item is added, so it's not there if you want to add another item - how would you do that?

Thank you for the great tutorials. I have a question concerning repeaters:
I'm trying to set a FAQ page where each of the questions is an extendable item. Initially only the question titles are visible. When you click on any of them they expand to show the related answer. I've easily done this with dynamic fields where on click I switch between the two states (contracted/expanded) and use push/pull widgets to get the necessary interaction along the list. Now the problem here is the answer text varies, thus I can't define a constant height of the widget (in the expanded state), thus the push/pull works great with each widget being a separate item, but when tried replicating this using repeaters I can't get them to have variable heights and the push/pull interaction breaks. Do you have an idea how to achieve what I want with the repeater?

Thank you for this video. It saved me a lot of stress. Can you do a video where I can update the values in each repeater. I have been successfully able to pull the content from each repeater row in the edit model image. But when I use the update row concept to update the values after changing them, the changes are not effected. Thanks

Your videos are really helpful, they are super clear, keep going!
I've followed it like a tutorial and everything worked exactly as you showed, however when trying to move down the button on click, it's working odd. On the first click it works fine but on the next ones the button doesn't move enough and stays on top of the new items. Any ideas on what's wrong? Thanks head for your help :)

Hi everyone. I have tried everything to add a permanent row in the repeater table by using global variables, but it still doesn't work. I have no idea where the problem could be. Is there anyone else facing this one? I'll appreciate a little help here :)

Thanks so much for these tutorials, I am a complete beginner and these are so easy to follow. One quick question though, I can only add one extra value when I click the 'Add New Employee' button, once I add the new entry and i'm back to the main page i.e. the popup has closed, the 'add new employee' button does nothing, any ideas much appreciated, thanks!

Say if I want to upload a file(image) to a new row. A new tent image from my computer or a person's profile picture along with his name and the group he belongs to. The Axure documentation says the text input field(file upload type) does not actually upload an image. I've experimented with a mixture of text input and file upload, text showed up, but no image. The Axure variable only stores text and numbers, but not bitmaps. The work around would be faking it. Using add row repeater for dynamic text, then trigger a show image on top of that new row as if the person's profile image has been added in the row. This might work. What do you think?

Came here asking myself how to add a row to a repeater set which has a continous ID. Like when I hit a button "Add row" the value of Column0 should be value of last row Column0 + 1? Any one can help? Do I have to push the last value of Column0 to a global variable on "Add row" Button?

When I change data colomn name to "Cname" and then add the names in Colomns, they show in repeater box over the name I've already put in can anyone help?
