My little guy has Down Syndrome and autism and is nonverbal. I teared up watching this because I know the struggle and fear. When they cannot articulate what they feel and they are more aversive to liquids when sick it’s much more difficult. My son does have a gtube which has saved us from dehydration many times I believe. You are doing great Mom and Dad❤

1:11 I have autism and my parents say that when I was two, I was with my parents and two brothers visiting my extended family in China. And I got really sick and I couldn’t even open my eyes for days because I was really tired from being sick. Thank the Lord that, He provided me a doctor when we were in the ER or else, we’ll have to wait forever. I pray that Mikko will be better.

I used to get bronchitis a lot as a child. One of the things my mom used to do is put Vicks on my chest and then warmed a small hand towel in the dryer and then put it under the TShirt. It was soothing for the cough and help break up the mucus. Also if you don’t have one already-get a humidifier for her room at night. Hugs and prayers for Mikko . ❤ I hope she is better soon. I have known so many kids with this flu .. 😢

I’m a grown woman and the flu had my body hurting so bad so I know how bad baby girl was hurting. It broke my heart to see her suffering. I’m glad she’s feeling better ❤❤❤❤
