Everyone is buzzing about Christopher Nolan's new movie, "Oppenheimer," which depicts the life story of J. Robert Oppenheimer, the inventor of the nuclear bomb that caused immense devastation in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

While the focus is on Oppenheimer and his significant role in history, let's not forget about the third place where a nuclear bomb was dropped. In this video, we will explore the chilling incident when a nuclear bomb was deployed over the Mars Bluff community.

The Mars Bluff incident took place on March 11, 1958, in South Carolina, USA. A United States Air Force B-47 Stratojet bomber, carrying a nuclear bomb, experienced a mid-air collision with an F-86 Sabrejet fighter plane during a training exercise. As a result of the collision, the nuclear bomb was accidentally released over the residential area of Mars Bluff.
