I get why they are wanting to change the retirement age. But Im going to have to stand with the French people. If there are people that are close to retirement that they were promised that's not fair in the least bit. The French government should have planned for this. I could see the need to increase the retirement age for people just starting in the workforce. They were not promised a retirement age yet. Or they need to slowly increase the retirement investment to cover the additional costs.
