Edinburgh's Royal Mile - Walking from Edinburgh Castle to Holyrood Palace

Hi everyone!

Welcome to this new Edinburgh video. Today I will show you what beautiful spots you can explore when you walk from Edinburgh Castle to Holyrood Palace.

First, we will explore Edinburgh Castle and watch the One O'Clock Gun Shot. If you want to visit the Crown Jewels, make sure that you have plenty of time since there's always a long queue.

When we leave Edinburgh Castle, we will come across some amazing souvenir shops, fancy restaurants and traditional pubs.

Other stops in this video will be: Victoria Street, St. Giles Cathedral, Cockburn Street and John Knox House.
Attention Outlander fans, we will also come across a filming location of season 3: Jamie Fraser's printing shop in Bakehouse Close.

Across from Deacon Brodie's pub there is a cafe down an alley called Brodie's. In the Summer you can sit in a courtyard area. It's really nice. I think it's where Deacon Brodie's actual house was.
