I hear your argument, but you would have to use that same argument for a holy place in a building which we know that God does not reside in so how could it be holy? That argument falls short. Where is the holy place? My opinion is it's the body like Jesus said

Agree 💯 on all. I feel so sad for all the people that are being deceived by him. He’s already told everyone he is the snake, but for the ones that won’t ‘get it’ until it will be too late will be tragic and heartbreaking. Many will even lose the kingdom of heaven because of him. We are in the body of Christ, and He is the head. The body isn't divided. We are perfectly united with Him in the Spirit. We are His temple, and He is our temple. I believe that this is a present reality, with a future fulfillment.

Remember that not everyone are in the same religions but that doesn’t mean that they lost God had no religion and He loves all human beings I believe the temple is in our body cause God is in every one

Hey Brother Paul, I would like you to reread 1 Cor. 3:16-17 and note: 1) the believer HAS the Holy Spirit dwelling within him. 2) “If any man DEFILE…In short this is telling us that THE HOLY TEMPLE CAN BE DEFILED with The Holy Spirit in it. This would be in line with Holy Scripture in Hebrews 6:4-6 and 2 Thessalonians chapter 2. Point number two is that I would ask you to consider that there is a possibility that the body is The Temple of God as Jesus, Peter, and Paul state, AND there is a third physical Jewish Temple rebuilt in the last days. That is a fascinating and persuasive argument for the Anti-Christ to have to desecrate a literal rebuilt Jewish Temple.

I also believe it will be a literal Temple, but I have made that case on different grounds.

My argument is that when Gabriel explained that the coming world ruler would desecrate the Temple, that the metaphor of the bodies of believers being temples was not yet given. Therefore neither Daniel nor his readers would have understood such an interpretation.

Furthermore, when Christ spoke of this same event in Matthew 24 and Luke 21, He said that when people see this act, then those in Jerusalem and Judea should flee for their lives. So this abomination of desolation must be something that can be seen, not a behind the scenes type of event. And it must happen in Jerusalem. At that point, the picture of the Anti-Christ entering a literal rebuilt Jewish Temple makes loads more sense than any metaphorical interpretation.

Hearing this made me wanna grow my kids up around the Bible. Letting them know what happens after death. You should never run away from the temple. Or you’ll be greeted with things you never want in life. The Bible has a way of life in it. It speaks for everything that’s ever happened. The only thing i disagree with is that the mark itself is the desecration of the temple, if the human body is the temple. I think the abomination of desolation is holding the antichrist as god or savior in your heart. So tbis would mean so-called born again Christians, who have tasted the Holy Spirit, who fall away. And if that is the case, then the human body could still be the third temple.

Well one thing. If our bodies are temples because of the Holy Spirit that means they are temples. This is a direct correlation to the Kingdom. There are two kingdoms. The Holy Spirit fills but does not create. Our souls are the third temples that have been rebuilt with the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The physical temple many speak off is because they still believe the Hebrews are Yewahs chosen people. They are not. This is why only 14, 000 from each tribe will be chosen. The teachings of the fake Hebrews has corrupted your minds.
