Some people’s intros are over a minute long. I always skip over the intros when I watch. I started just flashing my channel name for 3 sec over part of a video clip instead of pausing for an intro. Seems to be working better for me. Good video:)

Been watching you for a few months now and have pulled my intro out personally. My intro was only originally 3 seconds, and I’m not sure that I’ve seen any greater retention without it, but I really don’t feel like it was adding to the value in anyway. Thanks. I’ve been thinking about abandoning my into for a while. Still not wholly decided. It doesn’t seem to hit my stats and provides a clear explanation of what I do. But I can see how it is potentially distracting. I’ve also changed the channel branding a bit (to focus on my name), so it could remain a useful way to say what I do. One to think about!
