DIYPC cases aren't terrible. Though I would strongly recommend one with a side panel fan. Yes they look and are more dated - but that side panel fan puts in some serious work. I have crammed 375 watts worth of parts into the DIYPC Ranger R4-R I got back when I got a 2500k and GTX 970 from a friend that has since been replaced with an i7-6800k (at 4.2ghz / 120W package power) and RTX 2080 (255W stock). These parts would fry in many of the DIYPC hotboxes that lack the side intake. That being said - the lack of dust filtration on all but the power supply means lots of dust makes it inside though.

You should try a scorpion 3 from chieftec, they have an ok price and seems nice and has 4 RGB fans that comes with it, feels like an unknown brand in a way that not that many reviews on them yet, the stallion 2 has a nice arm for holding big GPUs might be worth a test, would be nice to hear a review from a builder.

Can't go wrong for 30 bucks if you're building on a tight budget.

Going budget is one thing, but technically a shoebox might work. lol
