Most will have threaded holes closer to the windshield that you can move the pistons to to achieve the same thing. This definitely a much more convenient, tool-less approach.

Hondas have a service position. And Chevy has gas struts so you don’t have to fiddle with that damn thing. Just have to replace them every 7 years or so lol
