For two years.. I’ve had horrible symptoms and was told many times by doctors it was just anxiety ☹️ I just found a doctor who tested me for mycotoxins in my body and SURE ENOUGH I have mold toxicity. There is mold in my childhood home and I constantly had migraines, sinus issues, fatigue, and fevers growing up. I moved back home and all of my symptoms returned. I feel so sick, but after seeing this I’m going to find a specialist.

I suffered horrible symptoms and my family didn't believe me and thought I was on drugs (I've never been a drug user so the accusations were highly offensive). I finally found a good doctor who thought my symptoms might be due to mold and did some blood work and 4 types of mold showed up and in high levels. I had to move out of my apartment (my landlord didn't believe me and refused to see my blood test results nor did they even want to discuss it). I suffered seizures and strange mental problems like hallucinations for awhile even after moving out. I started bleeding from my ears and using my phone to record it because I didn't know if I was hallucinating or if it was real. Some of the symptoms went away immediately after moving and some lingered for awhile. I'm now symptom free but it was an absolute nightmare

They sent them to a cardiologist, allergist and pulmonologist, who thankfully ruled out any heart damage, allergies to mold, or pulmonary damage due to the mold spores. Unfortunately, they didn’t focus on the most important aspect of prolonged Stachybotrys mold exposure, and that is the Trichothecene mycotoxin exposure. These Trichothecene toxins that the mold creates are dispersed into the air and inhaled or ingested, and they cause a myriad of systemic inflammatory symptoms and immune dysregulation.
The Doctors missed the mark on this one, and could have helped direct this family to a specialist who could have helped them detox from the Stachybotrys mycotoxins, as well as the mycotoxins from the other molds that were found to be at high levels in their water damaged home. Recovering from mycotoxin illness (mycotoxicosis) is difficult and a daunting task, and requires the help of a doctor who has researched and truly understands the dangerous affects of mycotoxins on the human innate immune system.

This is inconveniently and very unfortunately real. This is serious. All homes need to be thoroughly inspected before purchase/renting & every few years bc things change and may be hidden. I just avoid places with basements and crawl spaces nowadays.

This almost killed me. It took me 12 years to figure out how to permanently beat it. I had to go to France to even get a diagnosis. American doctors have no idea how to cure a black mold lung infection. Most doctors didn't even know to run a mycotoxin test. I wrote a book about it on Amazon called Eaten Alive because that's what it was doing. Black mold is so bad in Pennsylvania that public schools have had to close some of their buildings. Additionally, mold in hospitals has killed several people in America.

I'm living in apartment full of mold for over a year now. It ruined all my clothes and personal belongings. Its eating the walls a d floor away. I hope this family sued the real estate company, and anyone else involved.41 types of toxic mold, and nobody noticed?no structural inspection? nothing?honey I pray you get everything you deserve, not in a nasty way, but someone knew how bad that mess was.knew that home should have been demolished.not to mention, two small children, also exposed to high levels of mold.

I have been housebound for 2 years. I have been having test after test chasing this thing. I found it on my own in my own home over the weekend. I have lost everything. The home is to be gutted and they are going to try to save just a few important things to us. But all furniture. Paper, or anything pourus has to go. My wedding dress, baby clothes that I was saving. The clay hand print ornaments that my children made for me for Mother’s Day when they were in preschool.

At this moment all that I have is a t-shirt, pants and underwear. Anything from the home I have to throw out before I go to temporary housing. My daughters’ favorite books, stuffed toys.

I am devastated

Not just in homes. I can't even sit in a movie theater. Need to return to using old western style wood seats. The mold gets stuck in the fabric seats.
