Emmy grew up in a Christian family. However, her parents did not see any value in this religion, and so did not practise their faith. The just celebrated the festivals of Christmas and Easter. Growing up, her grandparents tried to teach Emmy and her siblings about Christianity.

Her story how she became a Muslim really inspired me. Allah SWT chooses only those whom are researching for the true Religion, that way there are stories about people how they converted to Islam. This is also one incident how she became a Muslim. Her story it was a dream made her to think something extra ordinary to go into research on Islam.
