Monitor Audio Platinum 3G

Today we take a look at the new Platinum 3G speakers from Monitor Audio. These are top of the range and definitely look and sound the part, but how do they compare to the previous generation?

Fo anyone really wondering how good they are - these are essentially a mini version of the exemplary and legendary MA 500PLII's - I know this as I have a pair - and they are astounding - I used to sell hi-end Hi-Fi and know a good sound when I hear one - they should be stunning

The crossover is also sat in the bottom of the cabinet horizontally on the G2 300 as well.

I have some Monitor Audio Airstream WS100 speakers made for computer desktop personal computers. They are very weighty little speakers but the sound they emit from something so small is incredible and huge. I now have them connected to the living room vierra plasma tv for roku music listening with youtube music.

This sounds like exactly what I'm after, I love the look, the design and the way they level is really innovative and going by this review, they likely sound like the speakers I'm after only, at $15, 500 AUD, they cost twice what I was wanting to spend. 🥶🥶

I’ve got the black colour. I must say, they are incredible. But do they sound better than my gold 100 5g I have, also? I wouldn’t say so.

Hi, the reason that the leather is taken away have to do with saving money, and not with improve the sound quality.
Unfortunately we leave at the time where everything has to be better, faster and cheaper. Is not working
I own the platinum 200ii the last 4 years and is a great speaker for that price range and gives a lot to a listener.
