Track Day with the new Super 7 at Harden Creek Slot Cars

After about a 2-year layoff, we got the guys back together for a Test 'n Tune club event for the Central Florida HO racing group - The Swamp Rats. Everyone had a chance to test out the new HCS AMG Super 7 cars and then race them in an IROC event.

I purchased 4 of these for an Iroc set …going to add two more for 6 lanes of fun and be used in future marc club Iroc events.
They ran GREAT for me right out of package. Loaned them to a friend who had guests over for thanksgiving they got put to a good endurance and durability test with first time racers consisting of young kids and adults who all enjoyed them. One of the best values for a “hobbyists” level car on the market.

Thanks for the video Terry really cool seeing them run on your track. I’m really enjoying the one I purchased last week. I kinda went over the top with it I installed an old bsrt 2.4 black top motor I’ve had for years. It works really well with the #10 magnets. Little faster then a stock viper with a hard body.

Terry, the S7 looks damn good.
How do you feel it stacks up against other similar "open can" style cars?
What are some of the better hop up options for the S7?

What scale are these cars? I'm in the UK so I'm guessing they are 1/64th or is it HO In the US? Same size as Micro Scalextric.
