Should i start doing daily Missions focused on 5 star resources, or keep the focus on 4 star resources? Should i forge straight away, or only on 5 star bots?

my opponents are just extremely overpowered in the story mode. So is there a way/some nice tips n tricks to level up your bot?
like I mean getting more ore 13 and sparks? or the cubes? like I mean a way to beat those
