The Sabbath is a memorial to creation. The Sabbath is a holy time set a part by God for man to rest from his labor, rest from his daily pleasures and communion with the Creator. Contrary to what many people believe, the Sabbath is not only for the Jews. As a matter of fact the Sabbath existed before the Jewish people even started as a people or nation. In Mark 2:27 it says "And He said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath."

God created the Sabbath during the creation week and thus it was also designed to be a part of the original design before sin entered the world. Doesn't it make sense that a loving God would dedicate a special time to spend with His creation. Satan knows this and has worked very hard to get people to forget the only commandment that begins with the world Remember. It is common for Christians to think that the Sabbath was done away with at the cross. A careful study of the scriptures will reveal that only the ceremonial sabbath's that foreshadowed Christ were nailed to the cross. The best decision I’ve ever made, was five years ago. After attending a Bible Seminar from pastor Mark Fox. I learned about the Sabbath. That first Sabbath after the seminar had ended, my wife and I took the alter call. We attended the nightly seminar, the next day she went to work, and I went on line to verify what I heard the night before. That Sabbath we both decided to listen to the Holy Spirit, and yield our lives to what the Bible said and not the tradition of man. I was born as a Catholic, then a Methodist for three years, and 42 years as a Baptist. We both knew that we had been brought up living a life of tradition. My wife had even volunteered to be an usher for The Billy Graham crusades. I absolutely have only one regret, I wish I had heard about the Sabbath truth many many years earlier. I knew one individual that was an SDA, but he never shared the truth with me. That was back in 1980, so many years wasted trying to honor God will, and blindly ignorant in my traditional ways. I will honor the Sabbath for the rest of my life, I pray for the ability to be faithful. Even unto death. I know it will happen, because the Bible tells us so.

I just don't understand why there are so many "Christian churches " that still worship on Sundays when they know it should be on Saturday? They know the Commandments! I was raised catholic and never took the time to read the Bible until last year and my eyes were opened! Same with all these pagans holidays like X-mas and Easter! Lord, please help us open our eyes, to share the truth and to keep your Commandments. We love you and thank you for your great sacrifice, our Lord and King Jesus Christ 🙏🙏
