The thing I like about this trailer, and this may be looking too far into it; but you can't tell if he's talking about the Titans or the Pilots. Lemme cook.

The Titans are gigantic weapons platforms that are given sentientce similar to that of a soldier. Giving them instincts, loyalty, and judgment.

The Pilots are soldiers injected with nanites and given movement kits that turn them into one man armies. There's even theories that Jack is a captured IMC pilot that was brainwashed and used as a weapon turned against the IMC.
