How well is the crossfire? How well does it perform in gaming? How well does it work with streaming? How great are the CPU benchmarks? How great are the GPU benchmarks. How are the thermals? How much is the power draw? How well does it respond to OC'ing? How well does it work with RAM speeds and types? Is it work purchasing? Knowing you TTL these are all the things you are going to cover anyway lol. Your level of detail is just one of the best. With the release of these... any news/rumours on when we will likely see widespread budget to mid range consumer Ryzen based laptops? Got a friend in need of a new laptop that needs background multitasking, and I'm thinking Ryzen will handle that better, so trying to get them to hold off.

LOL Tom, I See AMD sent you a Full-size Asus ATX Motherboard with the CPU's & not the Gigabyte AB350N ITX motherboard that got a poor VRM Heatsink on :), Will Be nice to see the 2400G once OC get to GTX 1050 Performance level on Graphics or near.

A good test would be to see how the iGPU and CPU scales with DDR4 speed. Previous APUs saw pretty significant boosts on the GPU as you increased RAM speed since the memory is shared. This should also combine with the general increase in performance that Ryzen sees with faster RAM.

Notably, the base memory for AMD is only 2400mhz so it'd be interesting to see just how much faster it runs with 3000/3200mhz kits which are pretty common.

I think with the GPU prices going insane, what people are going to look for is to have an idea of how the APUs compare to 1080 60fps graphic cards and see if this can be a temporary solution until GPU prices an low end cards become reasonable.

If you have a Creative Zx handy to test with digital encoding on the Asus B350 Prime please do because I have that exact board with mine and I've had issues with my sound losing the encoding.
It would be interesting to see if you have the same issue.
Now to be perfectly honest this was a issue with my older msi 970a-g43 but it behaved differently on it. I'm sure it is a Creative driver issue which creative don't agree. But if you find the same issue maybe it'll bring it to the developers attention.

Anyway you wanted something to test so this is simply my suggestion. :)

i just did some in depth research and these apus r equal to a rx 480 gpu, you can do some basic gaming on them but nothing hardcore
