I tried explaing this, its hard, so i went this way.
Does or has God ever known, pain, fear, illness, and other frailties? No. Yes he knows of them, but has never had them. He sent jesus as a man so that he could show us that even through all thse things we can endure and live righteously. It gave him a better understanding of us and we him.

If he did not experience fear, pain and suffering on the cross, the sacrifice wouldn't have been as impactful.

If he would not suffer and die for his beliefs, how could he expect anyone else to?

I wonder if he knows it just makes him look incredibly stupid to think that just because you know something painful will happen that it should make it painless. If I know I’m going to get stabbed, that doesn’t make it any less painful.

St. Cyril of Alexandria even says Christ was subject to God according to laws humanity in his 3rd letter to Nestorius. Christ becomes fully human, so he assumes all humanity. He assumed all of me so that I could be healed in my entirety. That which is not assumed, isn't healed.

I just learned from evangelists in the middle east, it takes an average of 100 times telling a Muslim the Gospel of Christ and the good news before they understsnd it. In Islam there is no love god, its a slave relationship. So when you tell them God in Jesus loves them it's a new concept that does not click
